The Makers Project by Scottish whiskey brand, The Balvenie explores modern creativity across categories, celebrates intrinsic values and thoughtful processes of making. It unpacks the uniquely human elements that elevate the ‘great to the exceptional’. The brand commissioned six Southeast Asian artists to create six unique art pieces of various mediums that represent and embody “The Heart of Their Countries”.

The Makers Project held at the ArtScience Museum Singapore, the first exhibition of it's kind featuring art pieces from six Southeast Asian artists hailing from Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, and The Philippines, are inspired by the craftsmen behind the Five Rare Crafts that The Balvenie distillery maintains in its whisky-making process.
